About the role
TL;DR
Develop organ-scale reversible cryopreservation technology for organ transplant.
- •We’re building an elite team of applied physicists, engineers, and materials scientists for true full stack engineering, from electrons to operating systems.
- •Projects will require high degree of autonomy and breadth of skill across electrical, mechanical, and materials design, with a strong emphasis on first principles thinking.
- •Key Responsibilities Develop perfusion systems, cryoprotectant formulations, and vitrification and rewarming hardware.
- •Work on organ-scale reversible cryopreservation to preserve donated organs at subzero temperatures without ice formation.
- •Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to achieve the goal of laying the foundation for whole-body reversible cryopreservation.
- •Requirements Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in a scientific discipline (engineering, physics, biology, etc.) Experience with standard lab techniques and equipment Demonstrations of exceptional ability and autonomy in past work
