TL;DR
Lead the design and operation of foundational cloud infrastructure for a space defense company.
- •True Anomaly is seeking a Staff Infrastructure Platform Engineer to build and scale the foundational cloud infrastructure for a next-generation space defense company.
- •This role is critical for enabling engineering teams to move faster and more safely by establishing robust cloud infrastructure, tooling, and standards.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead the design and operation of foundational multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- •Own the self-service experience for provisioning accounts, bootstrapping resources, and deploying software.
- •Author and maintain reusable infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform) and establish paved-road patterns.
- •Establish and drive adoption of enterprise-wide CI/CD, testing, and deployment standards.
- •Act as the technical anchor for the infrastructure engineering team, providing leadership and mentorship.
- •Requirements 8+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering with a track record of technical leadership.
- •Deep experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) at scale.
- •Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform) and building modern CI/CD pipelines.
- •Ability to work across a broad technical surface area and influence cross-organizational alignment.
- •US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance.
