- •TRM Labs is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Data Platform Serving team, focusing on the StarRocks-backed serving layer for government cloud investigations.
- •This role is crucial for maintaining the speed, reliability, and compliance of this high-availability environment.
- •Key Responsibilities Own performance tuning on the StarRocks serving layer using AI-assisted query profiling.
- •Build and harden data pipelines feeding government cloud investigations.
- •Reduce single-point-of-failure risk by becoming a second engineer capable of operating and troubleshooting the serving layer.
- •Use AI-assisted debugging and log analysis to triage production issues.
- •Requirements U.S. citizenship is required.
- •Hands-on experience operating distributed OLAP or serving-layer systems (StarRocks, Trino, ClickHouse, or similar).
- •Experience owning data pipeline reliability and incident response, and comfort using AI tools (Claude, Cursor, or similar).
- •Independent ownership mindset and ability to ramp quickly on unfamiliar production infrastructure.
