About the role
TL;DR
Lead the scaling and hardening of infrastructure for data pipelines, ML training, and web applications.
- •Treeswift is seeking its first full-time Dev Ops Engineer to lead the scaling and hardening of its infrastructure.
- •This role will involve improving and scaling the platform that supports data pipelines, machine learning training, and web applications, ensuring reliability and observability.
- •Key Responsibilities Scale and harden the platform for scheduling pipelines, running ML training, and hosting the web app.
- •Build observability and reliability foundations for high-volume pipeline operations.
- •Own CI/CD guardrails for production changes and safe rollout mechanics.
- •Improve reliability and observability of machine learning inference operations.
- •Create operational tooling and continuously improve systems, automating away toil.
- •Requirements 7-10 years of experience in observability, systems/infrastructure engineering, SRE, or DevOps, ideally in a cloud environment.
- •Ability to reason about end-to-end architecture and articulate thoughts with product impact in mind.
- •Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform).
- •Experience with container orchestration and debugging (Kubernetes and/or ECS).
- •Strong Linux debugging skills and ability to investigate production issues.
