About the role

- •Join Terran Orbital as a Sr.
- •Industrial Engineer to drive factory optimization, workflow design, and production scaling for satellite manufacturing.
- •You will create efficient production systems and ensure hardware is manufactured predictably, efficiently, and at scale.
- •Key Responsibilities Analyze and optimize factory workflows, takt time, labor use, and WIP levels.
- •Design and refine factory layouts, workstations, and integration cells.
- •Build and maintain factory simulation models to analyze throughput and constraints.
- •Lead Lean initiatives and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field. 5+ years of experience in industrial/manufacturing engineering, with at least 1 year supporting electronics/avionics/spaceflight hardware production.
- •Expertise in factory layout, simulation, capacity modeling, and workflow optimization.
- •Strong analytical background using data tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL).
- •Experience creating or maintaining factory simulation models (e.g., Simio, FlexSim).
