TL;DR
Assemble and test Guidance, Navigation & Control spacecraft components.
- •Join Terran Orbital as an AIT Technician specializing in GNC Module Assembly.
- •You will be responsible for assembling and testing Guidance, Navigation & Control spacecraft components, contributing to groundbreaking aerospace innovation.
- •Key Responsibilities Follow detailed procedures to assemble complex electronic and mechanical modules.
- •Operate hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and light power tools.
- •Perform basic avionics and electrical troubleshooting.
- •Assist in spacecraft integration related activities.
- •Update documentation and hardware statuses through online services.
- •Requirements 2+ years of professional experience in electromechanical assembly or spacecraft manufacturing.
- •Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and schematic drawings.
- •Proficiency with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office products.
- •Knowledge of soldering tools and practices (J-STD-001 certification preferred).
- •Familiarity with cleanroom cleanliness standards and ESD precautions.
