About the role
TL;DR
FP&A Intern to build financial models and reporting processes.
- •Tempo is seeking a part-time FP&A Intern to join their finance team.
- •This role involves building and maintaining critical financial models and reporting processes for customer RFPs, cost analysis, and management reporting.
- •Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain pricing models for customer RFPs and proposals.
- •Build unit-level cost models and analyze Section 45X credit eligibility.
- •Create monthly reporting packages including P&L, cash, headcount, and KPIs.
- •Support the end-to-end 2027 budgeting cycle.
- •Requirements Currently enrolled undergraduate in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, or a related field.
- •Strong Excel skills, including building models from scratch and understanding three-statement mechanics.
- •High degree of precision with numbers and a habit of self-checking work.
- •Availability of 15-20 hours per week during the academic term.
- •Clear written communication skills for commentary to management and investors.
- •Working familiarity with AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT for model building and data analysis.
