About the role
TL;DR
Senior Accountant / Finance Manager for Tempo's Austrian subsidiary, responsible for all finance functions.
- •Tempo develops thermochemical energy storage (TCES) systems for energy-intensive industries, enabling them to shift energy use and electrify high-temperature industrial heat cost-effectively.
- •Backed by leading climate and energy investors, Tempo is poised to revolutionize industrial energy consumption.
- •Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end finance function for the Austrian subsidiary, including accounting, payroll, tax, and EU grant reporting.
- •Manage month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting in both EUR and USD.
- •Oversee Austrian payroll processing, tax filings, and statutory compliance.
- •Handle purchasing and procurement processes, including vendor management and payment runs.
- •Manage financial administration for EU grant-funded projects.
- •Requirements Bilanzbuchhalter (or equivalent) qualification with 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience in Austria.
- •Working command of Austrian payroll, payroll tax, and EU VAT.
- •Professional fluency in German and English.
- •Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (NetSuite preferred).
- •Authorization to work in Austria.
