About the role
TL;DR
Ensure quality of AI models and agents in automotive retail cloud platform.
- •Tekion is seeking Senior AI Software Development Engineers in Test (AI SDET) to join its ML Engineering team.
- •This role focuses on building and shipping machine learning models and AI agents for the Automotive Retail Cloud (ARC).
- •You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, correctness, and reliability of AI models and agents, working closely with ML Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Management.
- •Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end quality for ML models, AI agents, and AI-powered features.
- •Design and implement automated testing frameworks for model inference, prompt pipelines, and agentic workflows.
- •Define and execute evaluation strategies for AI/LLM-powered capabilities, including building LLM-as-judge pipelines.
- •Use AI/LLMs to accelerate quality engineering, generating test cases and synthetic data.
- •Validate integration of ML models and agents into ARC products and drive root cause analysis for issues.
- •Requirements 5-8 years in SDET, quality engineering, or software engineering with a strong track record of building test automation frameworks.
- •Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java.
- •Hands-on experience testing data-intensive or ML/AI systems, or strong software-testing background with demonstrated ML/LLM fluency.
- •Solid understanding of ML concepts and experience designing evaluation frameworks for AI/LLM systems.
- •Familiarity with LLM/agent concepts and generative failure modes.
