- •We're hiring a Senior Data Engineer to build the data foundation for a new discovery-stage team focused on Taskrabbit client retention and personalization.
- •The team's mandate is to turn our biggest unaddressed retention bet
- •predicting what home service a client will need and when, then reaching them proactively
- •from concept into validated, in-market tests.
- •Key Responsibilities Build and maintain data pipelines and models for client profiles and predictive personalization.
- •Partner with ML Engineers and Solutions Architects on data modeling for predictions.
- •Develop pipelines to connect personalization signals to CRM and marketing channels.
- •Create dbt models and semantic layers for rapid test measurement.
- •Utilize AI coding tools for efficient development and code review.
- •Requirements Experience building ELT data pipelines with dbt, Airflow, and Fivetran.
- •Experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- •Solid data modeling skills (dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas).
- •Proficient in SQL and a general-purpose programming language (Python, Java, or Scala).
- •Regularly use AI coding assistants (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code).
