About the role
TL;DR
Build AI solutions within customer environments, turning insights into product improvements.
- •As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Tacto, you will bridge the gap between generic AI platforms and the unique realities of industrial customers.
- •You will work directly within customer environments, build with their production data, and translate learnings into product improvements.
- •Key Responsibilities Build data pipelines, agents, and custom logic within customer environments using Tacto's platform.
- •Own the technical aspects of customer deployments, including data extraction, mapping, validation, and enrichment.
- •Conduct on-site data workshops with key users and collaborate with their IT teams.
- •Translate customer insights into product enhancements and push them to Product and Engineering teams.
- •Automate deployment steps by building agents and proving their effectiveness.
- •Requirements Proven experience building software, automations, or technical projects relied upon by users.
- •Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience using AI coding tools.
- •Hands-on experience building with LLMs against real data, understanding agent capabilities and limitations.
- •Comfort working in complex, ambiguous environments with incomplete data and conflicting inputs.
- •Ability to earn customer trust through clear technical explanations and effective communication. 0-4 years of experience with a demonstrated steep learning curve.
- •Native-level German and fluent English speaker, based in Munich, willing to travel regularly across DACH.
