- •We're looking for a Head of R&D, Piano to join us at Simply and help scale our teams, technologies, and processes to the next stage of growth.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead and scale high-performing engineering teams, driving execution, delivery, and growth.
- •Partner closely with product, design, data, and business stakeholders to shape roadmap and priorities.
- •Bridge product vision and engineering execution, making strategy actionable.
- •Own key architectural and technical choices that enable scale and continuous product evolution.
- •Identify bottlenecks, streamline processes, and boost team velocity through org and workflow changes.
- •Coach and mentor engineers, fostering growth, ownership, and impact.
- •Uphold high standards of code quality, collaboration, and engineering culture.
- •Requirements Proven experience leading and scaling teams, preferably in high-growth environments.
- •Strong hands-on technical background in software engineering and system architecture.
- •Excellent understanding of modern development methodologies.
- •Love for problem-solving and shaping team culture.
- •Strong sense of ownership and a drive to get things done.
- •Ability to balance long-term thinking with immediate delivery needs.
- •Entrepreneurial experience, including founding or leading a venture
