About the role
TL;DR
Build and test drone avionics systems, own the avionics shop, and improve integration processes.
- •As our Founding Drone & Avionics Technician, you’ll play a key role in getting our fleet of autonomous drones ready for flight.
- •You’ll establish our professional-grade avionics shop, build harnesses and integration workflows, and ensure every system is measured, tested, and flight-proven.
- •Key Responsibilities Assemble and test prototype avionics units, including harnesses and electrical subsystems for UAVs Install, measure, and verify electronics inside flight vehicles Set up, organize, and maintain our avionics workspace Spot design flaws, propose improvements, and help us move faster and build better Support qualification and development testing Requirements Technical apprenticeship or training in a relevant field (e.g., Fluggerätelektroniker, Elektroniker) or EASA-certified 3+ years of hands-on experience assembling wiring harnesses and electronics, ideally in aerospace or high-reliability systems Proficient in soldering wires, connectors, and PCBs, and skilled with aerospace crimping and wire tools Comfortable using electronic diagnostic tools and troubleshooting workflows Conversational English is a must; German is a strong plus
