TL;DR

Develop PFAS-lean substitutes for semiconductor materials using generative ML and simulation.

  • The Staff Materials Research Scientist will bridge generative chemistry discovery and external partners to develop PFAS-lean substitutes for semiconductor materials.
  • Key Responsibilities Own the partner validation loop and serve as the primary scientific point of contact.
  • Run the discovery workflow and rank candidates for PFAS-substitution use cases.
  • Apply semiconductor domain judgment to evaluate generative and simulation outputs.
  • Close the experimental feedback loop and translate partner validation results into actionable technical improvement points.
  • Requirements Strong background in materials science and semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Experience with generative ML, physics-based simulation, and multi-scale modeling.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
