  • Rocket Lab is seeking a Senior Test Technician to work on electrical and electromechanical assemblies for the Electron Launch Vehicle avionics, Rutherford Rocket Engine, and Photon Satellite Components.
  • This role involves ensuring all components meet rigorous standards for spaceflight.
  • Key Responsibilities Perform functional, bench, vibration, and environmental testing on satellite and rocket components.
  • Utilize testing equipment with strong technical proficiency to verify component compliance with performance and quality specifications.
  • Work with a variety of components including radios, space batteries, actuators, network switches, cameras, and transducers.
  • Requirements 8+ years of experience in electronic component assembly, preferably for aerospace applications.
  • Experience with electrical assembly tools, bench testing, and measuring instruments.
  • Experience with vibration tables, thermal environment chambers, and vacuum chambers.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
