TL;DR

Design, build, and operate test infrastructure for actuator hardware.

  • Rhoda AI is building the next generation of generalist intelligent robots.
  • As an Actuator Test & Equipment Engineer, you will design, build, and operate the test infrastructure that turns actuator models into validated hardware.
  • Key Responsibilities Design and build motor dynos, actuator dynos, and back-to-back test setups.
  • Develop 4-square gear testing setups and cooling test benches.
  • Design durability and cycling test equipment.
  • Define data acquisition requirements and own data integrity.
  • Partner with technicians and modeling engineers to ensure data answers key questions.
  • Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field. 5+ years developing and operating test equipment for electromechanical systems.
  • Strong grasp of physics being measured and instrumentation.
  • Proficiency in dyno design and electromechanical test rig development.
  • Hands-on experience with instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
