TL;DR

Drive growth and profitability for Reachdesk's global marketplace by securing and managing brand partnerships.

  • Reachdesk is looking for a commercially driven Senior Manager, Marketplace Partnerships & Category Management to shape the next phase of growth for our global marketplace and elevate its quality, differentiation, and profitability.
  • Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a marketplace partnership strategy and scalable processes focused on acquiring leading national, regional, and global consumer brands.
  • Own growth, revenue, and profitability targets across a marketplace partner portfolio, including the performance of newly launched brands.
  • Build and manage a prioritized pipeline across gifts, food and beverage, experiences, branded merchandise, and other relevant categories.
  • Negotiate favorable pricing, margins, discounts, rebates, payment terms, service levels, minimum commitments, and other commercial terms.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Experience and work directly with clients to drive marketplace adoption and transaction volume.
  • Requirements 7+ years of relevant experience in online marketplace or merchant partnerships, strategic vendor management, or commercial category management involving consumer brands, gifting, branded merchandise, or related retail categories.
  • A proven record of personally sourcing, securing, and launching strategic brand or vendor partnerships while consistently achieving revenue and profitability targets.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, with a proven ability to secure favorable pricing, margins, payment terms, service levels, and broader commercial agreements.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the executive presence to engage senior leaders at leading brands, prospective clients, and existing customers.
  • A person who is entrepreneurial, resourceful, collaborative, and who leads from the front, tests new ideas quickly, and builds scalable processes that accelerate growth.
