About the role
TL;DR
Lead commercial and contracts for a major fusion demonstrator project.
- •Lead the owner-side commercial and contracts function for Proxima Fusion's first fusion demonstrator, the Alpha programme.
- •You will build the contractual and commercial framework for a multi-hundred-million-euro facility, working at the intersection of engineering, legal, and procurement.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead the development and negotiation of owner-side contracts for the Alpha programme.
- •Build and maintain the commercial management framework for change control, claims prevention, and payment governance.
- •Translate technical scope into contract language and serve as the central commercial interface.
- •Monitor contract performance and identify emerging commercial risks.
- •Requirements Experienced in commercial and contracts management on major capital projects in industrial, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
- •Comfortable working at the intersection of engineering, legal, and procurement.
- •Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken.
- •Entrepreneurial and structured approach to building governance.
