About the role
TL;DR
Build and manage the compliance program for a registered Futures Commission Merchant.
- •Polymarket is building out its US Exchange operations, including a registered Futures Commission Merchant (FCM).
- •This role is a foundational hire to build a compliance program from the ground up, defining operations under CFTC and NFA oversight.
- •You will support the CCO and own the day-to-day compliance program, ensuring written supervisory procedures are current, monitoring regulatory developments, and acting as the internal expert on program status.
- •Key Responsibilities Build and own the FCM compliance program, including all written supervisory procedures.
- •Conduct ongoing gap analyses against CFTC and NFA requirements and provide clear recommendations.
- •Draft, maintain, and update compliance policies and procedures.
- •Serve as the primary point of contact for NFA and CFTC inquiries.
- •Monitor regulatory developments and translate changes into program updates.
- •Requirements Direct compliance experience at a CFTC-registered FCM.
- •Deep, working knowledge of CFTC and NFA rules.
- •Proven experience drafting written supervisory procedures.
- •Ability to work independently and make sound judgment calls.
- •Clear, direct written communication.
