- •Platform Science is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Core Product Development team in Chennai.
- •In this role, you will drive Full Stack Development initiatives across our edge-to-cloud IoT environment.
- •Key Responsibilities Participate in the complete product development lifecycle, including technical analysis, architecture, system design, coding, unit integration, and system testing.
- •Provide ongoing sustaining support to core software products, driving end-to-end feature enhancements and codebase health.
- •Partner with Product Management, Technical Architects, and fellow Development Engineers to confirm, refine, and track technical requirements from concept to delivery.
- •Act as a core member of an agile engineering squad utilizing Scrum methodologies, actively participating in team sprint planning and execution.
- •Maintain regular, transparent communication regarding development progress, technical trade-offs, and project obstacles.
- •Requirements 5-6 years of professional experience developing robust web applications and data systems.
- •Strong, production-level coding skills in NodeJS, TypeScript, and Java.
- •Excellent working knowledge of the Spring Framework, Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA.
- •Proven experience in Microservices development, building resilient REST APIs, and advanced hands-on experience with MySQL (mandatory).
- •Experience writing automated unit tests using industry frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Chai, Jest, Jasmine, AVA, or JUnit).
