- •Pinterest is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead its Trust and Safety mandate by designing foundational measurement systems for unsafe content prevalence.
- •This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to directly influence platform safety metrics and executive visibility.
- •Key Responsibilities Design and develop ML-assisted sampling techniques to measure unsafe content prevalence.
- •Build large-scale data pipelines for safety labeling and monitoring.
- •Collaborate with Trust & Safety teams to translate policies into LLM prompts and calibrate labeler quality.
- •Define and evangelize content quality frameworks and analyze the content distribution funnel.
- •Requirements 5+ years of experience in data analysis with a quantitative approach.
- •Strong experience in ML, statistical modeling, and measurement problems.
- •Hands-on experience in platform safety, prevalence measurement, or Trust & Safety.
- •Proficiency in Python, SQL/Spark, and ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- •Ability to drive ambiguous measurement projects end-to-end with high ownership.
