About the role

TL;DR

Own and manage the product backlog, translating strategy into detailed requirements for engineering teams.

•Ontic provides software that helps corporate and government security teams identify threats, assess risk, and respond faster.
•As a Product Owner, you will work closely with Product Management, UX Design, QA, and Engineering to ensure product requirements are clearly defined, technically feasible, and delivered with high quality.
•Key Responsibilities Partner closely with Product Managers to translate product strategy and roadmap initiatives into detailed feature requirements and user stories Own and manage the team backlog, ensuring priorities are clearly defined and aligned with business objectives Write detailed epics, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria Lead backlog refinement sessions and support sprint planning activities with Engineering teams Work directly with developers during implementation to answer questions, clarify requirements, and support delivery execution Requirements 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar delivery-focused product role supporting Agile software development teams Strong experience writing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and functional requirements Proven ability to manage and prioritize a product backlog in a fast-paced Agile environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Technical aptitude and understanding of software development concepts and processes
