Backend Engineer for customer portal and heat pump ecosystem using Python.
- •We are a global EnerTech company driving the energy transition with innovative heat pump solutions.
- •As a Backend Engineer, you will develop and operate backend systems, APIs, and integrations for our customer portal and heat pump ecosystem.
- •Key Responsibilities Develop and continuously improve the customer portal for our heat pump customers.
- •Integrate new systems and replace existing third-party systems.
- •Develop and operate independent backend services and APIs.
- •Work on integrations around Salesforce to map business processes.
- •Contribute to building observability and modern CI/CD processes.
- •Requirements 4-6 years of experience in developing productive backend systems with Python (FastAPI, Django, or Flask).
- •Experience developing and operating REST APIs, including authentication (OAuth 2.0, JWT).
- •Experience with connecting external systems, webhooks, and retry logic.
- •Understanding of frontend development (React or Next.js) and willingness to work across the stack.
- •Proficiency in using AI-assisted development tools like Claude or Copilot.
