TL;DR
Backend Engineer Intern to design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs.
- •Merkle Science provides blockchain transaction monitoring and intelligence solutions for web3 companies, financial institutions, and government agencies.
- •Our vision is to make cryptocurrencies safe and provide infrastructure for their compliant growth.
- •Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python(Django/FastAPI).
- •Write efficient queries and manage data models in PostgreSQL.
- •Collaborate with frontend and QA engineers to ship end-to-end features.
- •Debug and optimize existing services for performance and scale.
- •Requirements Strong fundamentals in Python and object-oriented programming.
- •Understanding of Django/FastAPI or any Python web framework.
- •Working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
- •Basic understanding of caching concepts and tools like Redis.
- •Familiarity with Git and collaborative version control workflows.
