About the role
TL;DR
Monitor and operate solar and battery energy storage systems in a control room.
- •Join Nexamp's 24/7 Operations Center in Lawrence, MA as a Junior Control Room Operator.
- •Key Responsibilities Monitor daily production and operational status of solar and battery energy storage systems.
- •Review, acknowledge, analyze, and prioritize alarms and alerts.
- •Perform basic remote troubleshooting and control actions within defined SOPs.
- •Communicate clearly and professionally with various stakeholders.
- •Maintain accurate logs and records of outages, events, and resolutions.
- •Requirements 0-2 years of related experience in a technical, operations, control room, utility, or similar environment.
- •Basic knowledge of electricity/electrical terms.
- •Ability to work 40 hours per week including weekends and holidays.
- •High school diploma, prefer some post high school education, vocational or tech school.
