Lead and scale the engineering organization, setting technical strategy and aligning with business priorities.
- •Nectar Social is building an AI-native social operating system for the next era of commerce, enabling brands to build relationships with communities through authentic social interactions.
- •This role will lead, align, and scale the core engineering organization.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing engineering organization, including Engineering Managers and Tech Leads.
- •Partner with the CEO and executive peers to define long-term roadmaps and align engineering capacity with business priorities.
- •Set the high-level technical strategy, architecture principles, and infrastructure roadmap.
- •Drive operational rigor and establish clear metrics for delivery velocity, system reliability, and code quality.
- •Engage directly with key enterprise customers and prospects to understand user pain points and business value.
- •Requirements 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior leadership role managing managers.
- •Proven experience growing engineering teams and organizational structures through key growth phases.
- •Strong business and product instincts with a track record of translating complex product objectives into achievable engineering roadmaps.
- •Deep foundational technical background with the ability to evaluate high-level architectural trade-offs.
- •History of working seamlessly alongside Product, Design, Sales, and Customer Success executives in fast-paced startup environments.
