TL;DR
Lead platform engineering for a TechBio company, managing hybrid infrastructure and developer platforms.
- •Relation is a TechBio company developing transformational medicines using technology at its core.
- •This role leads the team responsible for the hybrid compute infrastructure, developer platform, and scientific compute environments powering Relation's machine learning and drug discovery work.
- •Key Responsibilities Define and evolve Relation’s platform strategy in partnership with VP of Engineering and peers.
- •Own the architectural strategy for Kubernetes-based clusters and hybrid infrastructure.
- •Lead and develop the Platform Engineering team, hiring and retaining exceptional engineers.
- •Own the scientific compute platform, ensuring it reliably and efficiently meets evolving needs.
- •Drive maturity of CI/CD pipelines, internal services, and developer tooling.
- •Requirements Significant experience in platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering.
- •Experience leading engineers and setting technical direction.
- •Deep expertise in Kubernetes and hybrid on-premises/cloud environments.
- •Experience building/running MLOps infrastructure, including notebook environments.
- •Strong security fundamentals and experience implementing security controls.
