About the role
TL;DR
Design and improve Monarch's operating system to ensure effective execution and alignment.
- •Monarch is seeking a Principal, Strategic Operations to join our Ops team during a period of rapid growth.
- •You'll design, implement, and continuously improve Monarch's operating system.
- •Key Responsibilities Design and continuously improve Monarch's leadership operating system.
- •Own the operating mechanics behind quarterly and annual planning.
- •Drive execution of the company's highest-priority cross-functional initiatives.
- •Build and evolve the operating mechanisms, documentation, and planning artifacts.
- •Partner closely with founders and functional leaders to identify organizational friction.
- •Requirements 7+ years of experience in Business Operations, Strategic Operations, Chief of Staff, Management Consulting, or a similar operational leadership role.
- •Demonstrated experience designing or scaling operating systems, planning processes, or company-wide execution mechanisms in a high-growth environment.
- •Experience partnering directly with founders and senior leaders on company-wide initiatives.
- •Exceptional written communication skills and the ability to synthesize complexity into clear decisions, frameworks, and operating mechanisms.
- •Strong systems thinking with the ability to identify root causes, simplify complexity, and design durable solutions.
