About the role
TL;DR
Develop and manage financial institution relationships for Monad Foundation.
- •We're looking for a Business Development Lead to position Monad Foundation's efforts to build out the Financial Institutions vertical.
- •This is an entrepreneurial, high-autonomy role for someone who thrives on building from zero, identifying opportunities, forming partnerships, and creating momentum around real financial usage on the blockchain.
- •Key Responsibilities Build and manage a structured pipeline of target financial institutions, tracking each organization across stages of engagement.
- •Develop deep, trust-based relationships with senior decision-makers at major financial institutions.
- •Cultivate internal champions within each target institution, recognizing that institutional decisions involve multiple stakeholders.
- •Develop and execute an advisor and influencer strategy, identifying and engaging the consulting firms, advisors, and intermediaries that shape how financial institutions think about chain selection.
- •Maintain a real-time, working view of which institutions are evaluating competing chains and infrastructure, and develop a sharp, insightful positioning for why Monad is the better fit for specific institutional use cases.
- •Requirements 6-10 years of experience in financial institution partnerships, institutional BD, management consulting with a financial services focus, or a crypto infrastructure company.
- •Direct exposure to how large financial institutions evaluate, procure, and adopt new technology infrastructure.
- •Existing relationships within financial institutions, consulting firms, or the broader institutional crypto ecosystem.
