TL;DR
Build and scale infrastructure for an AI-powered audit platform, ensuring security and reliability.
- •Modus is modernizing accounting firms using Agentic AI and is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and scale their infrastructure.
- •This role is crucial for maintaining sensitive financial data across multiple client firms.
- •Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor multi-tenant deployments, manage deploys, and handle incident response.
- •Rebuild legacy IT systems into a modern, scalable platform for identity, endpoints, networking, and file storage.
- •Onboard new firms onto the Modus platform, migrating users and data while ensuring compliance and security.
- •Support the engineering team with CI/CD, observability, and daily operational tasks.
- •Requirements Experience operating AWS infrastructure (VPCs, IAM, EC2/ECS/EKS, RDS).
- •Proficiency with Terraform (or equivalent IaC), Linux, and scripting (Python or Bash).
- •General IT knowledge including identity providers and endpoint management.
- •Ability to learn new tools and stacks quickly and solve unfamiliar problems.
- •Strong follow-through and automation mindset.
- •Comfort working closely with a hands-on engineering lead.
