- •Mission Graduates is seeking a passionate Wellness Coordinator to support the health and well-being of students at the Bessie Carmichael Beacon Program.
- •This role focuses on creating a safe and supportive environment, fostering positive relationships, and assisting with daily operations.
- •Key Responsibilities Create a safe and supportive restorative environment for students.
- •Support the Wellness Center with daily student check-ins and facilitate disagreements.
- •Coordinate lunch time support and program services with other CBOs and the Beacon Wellness Team.
- •Assist in the daily operations of the EDP including supervising youth and administrative tasks.
- •Support after-school staff, fill in for classes, and plan/lead activities.
- •Requirements Strong interest in education and socio-emotional learning.
- •Understanding of youth development principles and passion for working with students.
- •Ability to relate effectively to diverse communities and understand cultural diversity.
- •Experience working in communities of color with low-income populations.
- •Flexibility, organization, and initiative are essential.
