About the role
TL;DR
Build core backend systems for a rapidly growing documentation platform.
- •Mintlify is seeking product-minded backend engineers to build the core systems behind their documentation platform.
- •You will tackle hard problems across content processing, AI retrieval, and infrastructure that powers thousands of documentation sites.
- •Key Responsibilities Build backend systems end to end, including APIs and services for their editor, dashboard, and customer documentation sites.
- •Scale content infrastructure for ingesting, validating, transforming, and publishing content.
- •Develop search, retrieval, and agent infrastructure for AI products.
- •Improve performance and reliability of caching, queues, databases, and observability.
- •Shape product direction and engineering approaches.
- •Requirements Strong experience with systems design, API architecture, databases, and production systems.
- •Strong product intuition and care about the "why" as much as the "how".
- •Adaptable and willing to work beyond the backend when needed.
- •Appreciate a high degree of ownership and thrive when defining solutions.
- •Eager to talk directly with customers and use insights to shape product development.
