  • Mind Robotics is building generalized physical AI for industrial environments.
  • As a Firmware Engineer, you will own the embedded software that brings robots to life, from low-level motor control to system communication.
  • Key Responsibilities Write, test, and maintain production-quality firmware in C/C++ or Rust.
  • Implement and debug embedded communication protocols like CAN and EtherCAT.
  • Configure and manage microcontroller peripherals for sensor and actuator interfaces.
  • Develop and tune real-time control loops for motors and actuators.
  • Build tooling for firmware validation and hardware-in-the-loop systems.
  • Requirements Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience building firmware for real physical systems (robots, motors, etc.).
  • Fluency in C/C++ and/or Rust for embedded targets.
  • Hands-on experience with RTOS environments (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of embedded communication protocols (CAN, EtherCAT, I2C, SPI, UART).
