- •Merlin Labs is seeking a Staff Engineer to own the avionics integration architecture for their autonomous flight systems.
- •This role is critical for defining how various aircraft subsystems integrate into a certifiable and flyable system.
- •Key Responsibilities Define avionics integration architecture across multiple aircraft platforms.
- •Set integration strategy and technical standards for the Aircraft Engineering team.
- •Lead systems-level integration and verification of avionics components.
- •Act as the senior technical authority in design reviews and certification discussions.
- •Requirements BS in Electrical, Aerospace, Systems, or related Engineering discipline. 8+ years of experience integrating complex systems onto aircraft.
- •Deep, hands-on experience integrating and debugging systems spanning COTS/MOTS avionics, custom hardware, and embedded software.
- •Working knowledge of standard avionics interface protocols.
