Lead on-site generator commissioning, owning mechanical, electrical, and controls scope.
- •As a Generator Commissioning Lead at Giga, you will be the technical authority on-site, overseeing the generator commissioning process from delivery to turnover.
- •You will own the mechanical, electrical, and controls scope, working with multidisciplinary teams and vendors to ensure sites are commissioned to Giga's standards and turnover on schedule.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the generator commissioning process across mechanical, electrical, and controls scope.
- •Serve as the generator subject matter expert and primary technical interface with vendors.
- •Coordinate across Project Managers, Engineering, and contractors to keep work sequenced.
- •Manage parts and fuel coordination to prevent commissioning delays.
- •Lead generator testing and troubleshooting when equipment doesn't perform as expected.
- •Requirements 5+ years of hands-on experience with electrical systems, mechanical systems, generators, or data center/mission-critical facilities operations.
- •Demonstrated troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- •Strong technical communication and documentation skills.
- •Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- •Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
