Provide pediatric home health speech-language pathology services under supervision.
- •MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in pediatric home health settings.
- •This role focuses on helping children develop essential communication, feeding, and swallowing skills in their natural environment.
- •Key Responsibilities Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- •Support treatment plans addressing communication, articulation, language development, feeding, and swallowing needs.
- •Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with supervising SLPs and the care team.
- •Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans to support each child's goals.
- •Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
- •Requirements Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
- •Current Texas Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license, or eligible to obtain licensure.
- •One year of experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- •Pediatric experience preferred.
- •Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
