- •Matia is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to join as the first PM in the US, working closely with the VP of Product in New York.
- •This role requires deep technical knowledge and hands-on involvement in product areas across the Matia platform.
- •Key Responsibilities Own product areas across the platform, translating technical challenges into clear priorities and specifications.
- •Go deep on data infrastructure, understanding database replication, pipelines, and performance characteristics.
- •Be the voice of US customers, representing their needs in product roadmaps and ensuring alignment with real-world data teams.
- •Partner with the Israel-based engineering team, writing crisp specifications and engaging in technical tradeoffs.
- •Iterate and prioritize the product roadmap based on data, user feedback, and results.
- •Shape Matia's product culture in the US, establishing product rituals and standards.
- •Requirements 5+ years as a Product Manager, with at least 2 years on data-intensive or infrastructure products.
- •Genuine working knowledge of relational database internals, especially Postgres and MySQL.
- •Strong SQL and comfort reasoning about data structures and data quality.
- •Demonstrated success shipping technical products end-to-end, from discovery through delivery.
- •Comfortable and credible in front of technical customers, from data engineers to heads of data.
- •A track record of working effectively with distributed engineering teams.
- •Skilled at using modern AI tools to accelerate product workflows.
