About the role
TL;DR
Legal Counsel to lead commercial deals, advise on legal matters, and support senior leadership.
- •Masabi is seeking a Legal Counsel to support its growing global operations.
- •This role will focus on shaping, negotiating, and closing major commercial deals, including tenders and public procurements.
- •You will work closely with senior leadership, advising on data protection, IP, licensing, and cross-market commercial questions.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead the legal aspects of major tenders and public procurements.
- •Negotiate and close large customer contracts, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- •Draft and negotiate various commercial agreements, including SaaS, licensing, and NDAs.
- •Advise on data protection, privacy, IP, and licensing matters.
- •Translate legal risk into actionable commercial choices for senior stakeholders.
- •Requirements Law degree and current practising certificate (UK, US, or Commonwealth jurisdiction).
- •Several years of post-qualification legal experience.
- •Strong experience drafting and negotiating complex technology contracts, particularly SaaS.
- •Ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly to senior stakeholders.
- •Comfortable managing a broad range of legal matters.
