- •Manychat is seeking a Senior Python Engineer to build and evolve a Python-based platform layer that extends and scales the company's engineering core.
- •This role focuses on designing systems that decouple complexity, enable scalable execution of business logic, and ensure reliable communication between services.
- •Key Responsibilities Design and build a Python-based platform layer integrating with the core system.
- •Define and evolve patterns for service communication, orchestration, and responsibility split.
- •Develop scalable, async services handling high-load and latency-sensitive workflows.
- •Own API contracts between systems, ensuring stability and backward compatibility.
- •Ensure reliability of cross-system interactions through observability.
- •Requirements 5+ years of commercial Python development in production environments.
- •Strong expertise in modern Python frameworks (FastAPI preferred; Django/Flask acceptable).
- •Solid experience designing and integrating APIs.
- •Strong understanding of async programming and concurrency (AsyncIO, non-blocking I/O).
- •Experience working with PostgreSQL and large datasets.
