- •Mainspring Energy is seeking a Senior Sustaining Controls Engineer to ensure their fuel-flexible power solutions reliably meet customer electricity demands.
- •You will diagnose and resolve complex issues across mechanical, electrical, and software domains, improving product reliability and reducing maintenance needs.
- •Key Responsibilities Manage and resolve fleet issues, documenting solutions and improving processes.
- •Diagnose root causes of system issues, differentiating between mechanical, electrical, and software problems.
- •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical support and enhance system behavior.
- •Debug and troubleshoot control algorithms, implement fixes in C++ code, and test them.
- •Tune control gains and calibrate systems, documenting the process.
- •Requirements Experience in root cause analysis of complex software-mechatronic systems.
- •Proven ability to create or improve sustaining engineering processes.
- •Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- •Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering with a controls focus.
- •BS and six years or MS and five years of relevant experience.
