- •Layup Parts is seeking a Controls/Automation Software Engineer to join their robotics and software team.
- •This role will focus on supporting and building machine automation systems, ensuring their smooth operation in production.
- •Key Responsibilities Serve as a core support and build resource for the robotics and automation software team.
- •Own machine automation systems in production, including ovens, autoclaves, and other integrated equipment.
- •Field and resolve issues from automated production systems, developing lasting solutions.
- •Keep development of new automation features moving alongside support work.
- •Requirements 3+ years of software engineering experience with strong C++ skills.
- •Experience with controls systems (factory automation, robotics, automotive, avionics, etc.).
- •Comfortable working directly with hardware and machine interfaces.
- •Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across software and physical systems.
- •Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with limited documentation.
