- •Kepler Communications is seeking an Embedded Software Engineering Intern to contribute to satellite on-board software, payload software, IoT modules, and ground equipment.

- •Key Responsibilities Design and develop reliable, high-quality software for satellites and ground systems.
- •Write thorough tests and documentation.
- •Participate in software design and code reviews.
- •Collaborate with electrical, digital design, and operations teams.
- •Requirements Demonstrated experience working in embedded systems.
- •Currently enrolled in a Computer Science or equivalent degree program and returning to studies after the internship.
- •Strong software design, development, testing, and debugging skills.
- •Proficiency in C/C++.
- •Experience with embedded operating systems and build systems (e.g., OpenEmbedded/Yocto, FreeRTOS).
- •Embedded Linux experience.
- •Excellent communication skills and ability to use Git effectively.
- •Willingness to leverage AI-assisted engineering tools.
- •Available for a full-time internship beginning January 2027 for 4 months.
- •Must work on-site at the Toronto office.
