About the role
TL;DR
Build and own the financial planning and analysis function, turning numbers into clear stories for leadership.
- •As the FP&A Lead at Kalshi, you'll build and own the financial planning and analysis function as we scale.
- •You'll be the person who turns the numbers into a clear story
- •helping leadership understand where the business stands, where it's headed, and what decisions will get us there faster.
- •Key Responsibilities Own company-wide financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- •Build and maintain financial models that reflect the realities of a fast-growing business.
- •Partner directly with the executive team and department leads to translate financial analysis into actionable recommendations.
- •Lead the monthly and quarterly close-to-reporting cycle.
- •Develop dashboards and reporting tools for real-time business visibility.
- •Requirements 8+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking.
- •Strong financial modeling skills and a track record of building models from scratch.
- •Excellent analytical skills to move from raw data to clear recommendations quickly.
- •Experience partnering directly with senior leadership and communicating financial concepts to non-finance audiences.
- •Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with ambiguity.
