About the role
TL;DR
Manage international payroll operations and strategy for the APAC region.
- •As Justworks’ Manager, International Payroll (APAC), you will lead the strategy and execution of payroll and payroll tax operations across all active APAC countries and other international jurisdictions.
- •You are a seasoned leader and the regional expert on payroll activities, tax payments, and statutory reporting, ensuring total compliance with regional and local tax regulations.
- •Key Responsibilities Manage and develop a regional payroll team, ensuring high standards of operational excellence and compliance.
- •Oversee end-to-end payroll processes in APAC countries and other assigned jurisdictions, including daily adjustments, tax processing, and remittances.
- •Design and implement localized workflows for evolving international markets while maintaining global consistency.
- •Partner with Product and Engineering teams to automate and scale payroll products.
- •Serve as the final escalation point for complex payroll-related inquiries.
- •Requirements 6+ years of experience in international payroll operations, specifically within the EOR, PEO, or HR Tech space. 2+ years of experience managing a regional or international payroll team.
- •Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and statutory requirements across multiple APAC countries and international contractor compliance.
- •Proven experience in leveraging and optimizing payroll software and global platforms.
- •Advanced Excel skills for complex data analysis.
