- •Define and execute the strategy for supplying laser diodes at the scale, cost, and reliability required for fusion energy.
- •Key Responsibilities Define baseline assembly process and automation requirements for high-volume laser diode production Evaluate and select vendors Establish manufacturing best practices across suppliers and internal operations Drive yield improvement through yield analysis and failure analysis Requirements B.S. with 10+ years of experience, or M.S. with 7+ years of experience Deep experience with QCW Diodes packaging experience Proven track record in high volume manufacturing environments Strong background in production quality control and process optimization Experience with semiconductor back-end packaging experience a plus
