Senior Database Engineer responsible for database analysis, design, and administration.
- •IDT is seeking a highly motivated Senior Database Engineer to join their database services team.
- •This role involves performing database analysis, design, and administration to support strategic projects and organizational goals.
- •Key Responsibilities Full-lifecycle database administration, including provisioning MongoDB clusters, tuning replication, and managing backup/recovery.
- •Deploying software patches, managing schema changes, and collaborating with developers on database design.
- •Providing 24/7 support and participating in the DBA on-call rotation.
- •Analyzing and troubleshooting application issues related to database object design.
- •Requirements Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or equivalent with 8-10 years of DBA experience.
- •Deep experience with MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL databases.
- •Experience with databases hosted on Linux and the Amazon RDS platform.
- •Knowledge of database architecture and high availability solutions.
