Lead manufacturing engineering for scalable production and team development.
- •Hyliion is seeking a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Engineering to lead the manufacturing engineering function across its primary production and R&D sites.
- •This role bridges product design and scalable production, defining processes, tooling, and infrastructure.
- •Key Responsibilities Translate engineering designs into manufacturable, repeatable, and scalable production configurations.
- •Design, develop, and qualify manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and processes.
- •Own manufacturing documentation including PFMEAs, control plans, and work instructions.
- •Build, mentor, and lead a team of manufacturing engineers.
- •Drive production-readiness milestones with cross-functional teams.
- •Requirements B.S. or higher in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience. 10+ years of core manufacturing engineering experience with demonstrated progression. 3+ years of direct people management leading a team of engineers.
- •Demonstrated track record productionizing engineering designs into scalable systems.
- •Proven expertise in process engineering, lean manufacturing, and capital equipment programs.
