Manage and optimize a global Security Operations Center team, ensuring efficient incident response and analyst development.
- •Huntress is seeking a Manager for its Security Operations Center (SOC) in Australia.
- •This role is responsible for streamlining processes, workflows, and playbooks to enhance the productivity and reduce burnout of the SOC team, ensuring effective day-to-day operations and enabling analysts to meet response time objectives.
- •Key Responsibilities Design and implement processes to reduce burnout and increase SOC productivity.
- •Manage shift coverage to ensure 24/7 operations.
- •Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings with analysts for feedback and career development.
- •Contribute to analyst training programs in areas like Digital Forensics and Incident Response.
- •Collaborate with Product teams to prioritize new capabilities.
- •Requirements Experience leading diverse cybersecurity teams. 5+ years of Security Analyst experience in a global 24x7 SOC with a focus on Windows forensics. 2+ years of team lead or managerial experience in a global operations center or Incident Response role.
- •Ability to identify workflows and create detailed process diagrams.
- •Effective communication of technical concepts to various stakeholders.
