About the role
TL;DR
Build the HTS API Marketplace, defining its structure, packaging, pricing, and partner experience.
- •We are seeking an exceptional Principal Product Manager to build the HTS API Marketplace
- •the commercial and developer-facing layer through which enterprise partners access Hopper's lodging and cars capabilities.
- •This is a true 0-to-1 role where you will define the product's structure, packaging, pricing, and partner experience.
- •Key Responsibilities Define the HTS API Marketplace structure, packaging, and pricing.
- •Coordinate with capability PMs to translate technical systems into externally-consumable API products.
- •Own the commercial model for the marketplace, including platform vs. variable fees and take rate structure.
- •Build the developer and partner experience from scratch, including API specifications and onboarding flows.
- •Utilize AI tools and rapid prototyping to test ideas quickly.
- •Requirements 7+ years of Product Management experience, with at least one 0-to-1 product built from concept to commercial launch.
- •Demonstrated experience building developer-facing or B2B marketplace products, including API product design.
- •AI-native working style, comfortable using LLMs and vibe coding for prototyping.
- •Strong understanding of marketplace economics.
- •Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple product teams.
- •Experience working with external enterprise partners.
- •Strong fluency with SQL.
