About the role
TL;DR
Build and maintain simulation environments for physical systems.
- •As a Simulation Engineer, you will build and maintain the modelling and simulation environments to understand how platforms will behave before they are built.
- •You will work closely with GNC, mechanical, and systems engineers, ensuring models meet the same high standards as hardware.
- •Key Responsibilities Build and maintain high-fidelity simulation environments (6-DOF vehicle dynamics, aerodynamics, structural, engagement-level models).
- •Develop Monte Carlo and sensitivity analysis capabilities.
- •Collaborate with engineers to define modeling requirements and fidelity.
- •Validate models against real test and flight data.
- •Requirements Experience building and maintaining simulation environments for physical systems (aerospace, automotive, robotics).
- •Strong understanding of underlying physics (flight dynamics, aerodynamics, structures, controls).
- •Proficiency in a relevant programming/scientific computing environment (Python, MATLAB/Simulink, C++).
- •Experience validating simulation output against real test or field data.
